GREY NYC FULL SCALE 700E HUDSON

 

  • In 1937, Lionel unveiled the 700E scale Hudson, which became the most famous model locomotive of all time
  • Based on the J1-e class of New York Central's world-famous Hudson engines, the Lionel prewar model was an absolutly perfect, rivet-for-rivet model of it's big brother
  • Using much of the tooling that built the first 700E, Lionel now offers both a black and grey J1-e with the grey model numbered 5332 on the side of the cab, but otherwise identical to the black model
  • A grey full scale Hudson has never been produced before; the 1937 grey models were semi-scale 763's without piping and superdetail
