| Produced by Lionel in 1995-97. A remake of the classic 464 postwar lumber/sawmill accessory from 1956-60. The Lionel Sawmill is designed to simulate the action of a real sawmill which takes rough logs and converts them to finished lumber. The action is accomplished by a long reel of 35mm film with prongs attached to catch the logs and planks. The Sawmill can be placed along any stretch of straight track. It takes up a little more than two straight sections of track. Features; highly detailed construction, metal base, measures 10 1/2" long and 6" wide, and lettered "LIONEL SAW MILL". Great piece with lots of play value, and will work with any log dump car. |
