| Set includes: "Roton Point" Pullman, #1000 Coach, #5581 Baggage. In 1955 the New Haven planned to upgrade their 8200 series America Flyer coaches, a name the real cars acquired from the popularity of A. C. Gilbert's 1940s era models. Coach #8266 was refurbished, repainted with a new placement of the orange panel, and re-numbered. The New Haven never found the capital to rebuild the rest of the fleet, so Coach #1000 was "one-of-a-kind".
