SANTA FE IDLER FLATCAR WITH LOAD July
When a Santa Fe wedge plow car was not in service, it was often assigned to an "idler car" which helped support the weight of the plow. The idler flatcar provided a safe and easy way to support and transport the plow car when it was not in operation. Lionel's Idler Flatcar includes a ballast box on the deck to help with the work duties. A perfect addition to the Wedge Plow Flatcar, it can also be run separately as a ballast load flatcar on any work line.
