| Lionmaster is an awesome new series of articulated locos designed to run on 31 inch diameter (regular O gauge) track. Loco and tender measure 27 3/4 inches. Die-cast boiler and tender. Odyssey system for speed control, Trainmaster command control system, Dual motors with momentum flywheel. Railsounds has crew talk, chitchat and towercom announcements. Traction tires, Operating headlights, Directional lighting, Red firebox glow. Metal handrails, Cab window glass. Articulated locos have 2 sets of steam chests and drive wheels which swievel under the boiler. They were developed late in the steam era to allow longer, more powerful locomotives to negotiate existing curves and were the largest steam locomotives ever built. |
