SANTA FE GP-9 DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE W/TMCC

 

Built by Lionel in 1999-'00 and part of their "Geep" service fleet. General Purpose diesels in the USA handled any assignment on the railroad. From commuter and long distance high speed passenger trains to freight trains, and yard switcher duties. GP-9 FEATURES: engine #2925, Loco has large pullmore motor, Magne-traction, die cast trucks, operating couplers, dual headlighting, amber strobe light atop the roof, clear window glass, ornamental metal diesel horns, die-cast GP-9 heavy duty trucks, all metal underframe w/"diamond plate" embossed on the surface, die- cast fuel tank serves as control base for TMCC features, authentic Santa Fe "Merger" graphics and logo. Special NOTE: Railroads would head heavy trains with 3, 4 or 5 GPs in a Lashup. You can do this too because this loco is equipped with full Lionel Command Control (TMCC).
