PENNSYLVANIA READING SEASHORE LINES CAMELBACK (TMCC)

Camelbacks were used by all Anthricite Railroads entering the hard coal regions around Scranton and Wilkes Barre Pennsylvania. They were innovated to burn 'culm', a previously useless by-product of mining operations, giving the railroads a new low cost source of energy. The Camelbacks were an exceptionally high speed loco for some reason, and were widely used for passenger service as well as freight service. The Pennsylvania Reading Seashore Lines Camelbacks established many speed records racing across Southern New Jersey to Atlantic city, on schedules that haven't be duplicated since. Loco has full TMCC and is a real good looking Lionel Model. Minimum curve: O- 31
