Clearing snow from the mainline is a constant challenge for railroads in winter. The most exciting method of clearing snow is the jet snow blower. With a jet engine mounted on a railcar, the railroads were able to clear snow in a dramatic way. The jet nozzle was aimed at the track to blow and melt the snow off the rails. Features
