The Western Pacific GS-6-4 STEAM LOCOMOTIVE

The all-new, scale-sized Lionel GS-6-4 marks the very first time this classic Western Pacific steamer has ever been accurately modeled in die- cast metal O gauge. This fully-featured model is not simply a GS-2 painted black. Although the GS-6 shared the same boiler, drivers and skyline casing of the famed GS-2 Daylight 4-8-4's, they did not have side skirts due to wartime dual-purpose duty. The Lionel model FEATURES: 0-54" compatible * separately applied piping, pumps and appliances like those found under the running boards of the prototype. The GS-6-4's did receive some of the improvements found in the later Daylights, such as the GS-4. Many of these differences are captured in this new Lionel locomotive, including an air intercooler on the pilot deck, the distinctive 235-R tender and an all-weather cab with opening roof hatches, side doors and rear access doors * TMCC W/Odyssey * Railsounds 5 * dual fatboy speakers * Pittman motor * wireless tether * directional headlighting W/backup light on tender rear * lighted number boards and classification lights * traction tire control * fan driven smoke generator * operating coupler on tender rear * engineer crew * authentic WP graphics and logo on tender sides
