N&W #1218 CLASS A BTO
|
One of the Norfolk and Western's famous super- steam trinity, the Class A was in a class of its own when it came to freight service. Equally capable of pulling heavy tonnage and moving freight swiftly at up to 70 mph on the mainline, the A's were among the finest of Roanoke's designs and construction.
