MILWAUKEE ROAD COLUMBIAN 18 2 PACK SLEEPER/OBSERVATION

 

As the Milwaukee Road built up its streamlined passenger fleet following WWII older heavyweight cars from the Olympian Hiawatha were reassigned to the Columbian a secondary passenger train from Chicago to Seattle and Tacoma. The cars offered in these two packs are typical of those used in the train from 1949 to 1955 during which time it would have been handled by a variety of the railroads steam, diesel and electric locomotives.
