PULLMAN POOL SERVICE 18 SLEEPER 2-PACK

 

In addition to cars assigned to specific railroads a nd routes, Pullman also operated a pool of cars which could be used wherever needed. This helped balance demand and better utilize the cars for seasonal traffic trends around the country. Cars were painted in the classic "Pullman Green" until 1946 when a two-tone gray was introduced, though green cars remained common through the next decade. These cars are the perfect add on to any of your trains - no matter what railroad you model!
