| Produced by Lionel in 1991. This rare accessory was based on the the Postwar/MPC #128 newstand with newly designed figures. This whimsical accessory uses the same mechanism and base as the newstand/refreshment stand(measures 8 1/2"*6 1/2"), but it's action is more surreal, especially at high voltage. When the button is pushed all three figures move(the women looks great, she moves frantically looking both ways for the train). This accessory would lead to the Animated Frt. Station in 1992(6-12818). Both would see very short runs, and have become quite hard to find. Neat piece on the layout. Books for $100 in mint condition. |
