OPERATING CONTROL TOWER (MPC, 1983)

Produced by MPC in 1983-84. A remake of the classic Postwar #192(1959-60). Yellow building, black superstructure, gray base. Two men move in circles around the building interior, powered by vibrator motor. This revival of the 192 is interesting for several reasons. There were actualy two different runs of the accessory: the first, with a red roof, was produced in Mexico: the second with a maroon roof, was produced in Mt.Clemens. Neither version had a protective aluminum strip above the lightbulb, so these two runs of the accessory were subject to melted roofs unless they were modified. The same problem the Postwar version suffered(later LTI versions corrected this problem).
