RIO GRANDE AB F3 WITH CABOOSE. LOCO HAS DUAL MOTORS, MAGNETRACTION AND TMCC

 

Here's the 2004 edition of the post war 2379 Rio Grande F3 AB from 1957. One of the best running locos of all time, it is bargin priced with the Rio Grande caboose in one package. Built identically with the 1957 model, this loco has all the best from the Golden Years of Lionel, with full TMCC added. In addition, has wire screens, portholes and grab irons which had been eliminated by the old Lionel Company as a cost saving measure. Ths loco was Issued as part of set 6- 31727 in 2004; neither the loco nor the Caboose was cataloged for seperate sale
  • Additonal features include Railsounds, Towercom, Electrocouplers on front of A and rear of B, headlight on A and backup light on B with directional lighting, Traction tires (in addition to Magnetraction - now you get the best of both Lionel and American Flyer), and, of course, die cast base, pilots, trucks and frames
  • It's a terrific loco and runs like peaches and cream.
