SET OF THREE J.S. DEPOSE (PARIS) OIL LAMPS FOR DOLL HOUSE OR TRAIN LAYOUT!

Rare J.S. Depose set of three working oil lamps dating from circa 1870. Originally designed and made in Paris, France, they were intended for use on doll house layouts. However, they would look fabulous as a display item or for the toy train layout too! They measure approx. 6" in height and have a pinwheel on the side which raises and lowers the wick. There is an oil well in the base of each light and the wick is accessed by an opening glass panel on one of the four lamp sides as shown. Heavy cast base, light tin shade sides, and glass panels on shade (four on each). They come with box bottoms, although I don't believe these were original to these pieces as they seem a little too small. A most unique set!
