O GAUGE SARATOGA PARLOR CAR 1918-23

 

1918-23 Ives passenger car. Lithographed metal sides to simulate a steel car. 9 1/2 inches long with smooth sides and rivet detail: Type 4 trucks with black finish; two post truss rod frame; four sets of double windows flanked by an embossed door with punched-out window at each end; two pieced roof or one-pieced roof. Olive green with light green and orange outlined windows and orange outline door window. Lettered "No.129 SARATOGA No.129" below window and "THE IVES RAILWAY LINES" above windows. Has automatic couplers supported by the frame. The 130-series cars were top of the line O gauge cars for Ives made from 1904 to 1929. Getting extremely tough to find in any condition.
