O GAUGE BUFFET PASSENGER CAR 1918-23

 

1918-23 Ives passenger car. Lithographed metal sides to simulate a steel car. 9 1/2 inches long with smooth sides and rivet detail; Type 4 trucks with black finish; two post truss rod frame; three sets of double windows flanked by embossed door(one with double window, other with single window);and two oval embossed windows at one end; two piece roof or one piece roof. Olive green with light green and orange outlined windows and orange outlined door windows. Lettered "No.130 BUFFET No.130" below windows and "IVES RAILWAY LINES" above window. Has automatic couplers supported by the frame. These 130-series cars were top of the line O gauge cars for Ives, made from 1904 to 1929. There getting extremely tough to find in any condition.
