MARX DIE-CAST OLIVE DRAB US ARMY STEAMER 1950'S

 

Early 50's production on this 2-4-2 die-cast steamer. Features include 2-postion e-unit, smoke, and non-whistle plastic tender. Very cool under appreciated engine by Marx. They made a whole line of military items in the 50's. The steamer was great considering Lionel didn't produce any military steamer until 1999. Condition is strong excellent plus, steamer is clean with no major scratches. Tender has one broken step. Runs like a champ and smokes great.
