MARX M10005 UP STREAMLINED PASSENGER SET (1940-50)
by Marx from 1940-50, in highly detailed tin-litho construction. At the time, this was the top-of- the-line set offered by Marx. Early version's came in yellow/browm, or cream/green paint scheme. Mid to late 40's came in silver/maroon/blue paint scheme. All featured the Union Pacific roadname, with numerous different named passenger cars (Denver, Omaha, Los Angeles, Diner, and Squaw Bonnet observation). Contents included; M10005 engine, two passenger cars, observation car, track, transformer, and lift box with inserts. |
