OO GAUGE TRACK HALF INCH CURVED SECTION BOX OF 6

Half inch curved track - six to a box, each piece is 3 and 3/8 of an inch in length. Built between 1939 and 1942 only. Lionel three rail track is mounted on black Bakelite base containing moulded, closely-spaced ties. One section is joined to the next by a self-contained lock-tight clip. A special section of curved track contains terminals for wire connections to the transformer (1939 catalog). Note: The lock-tight clips appear only to have been available in 0061, 0062 and 0064 track sections. These were listed only in the 1938 catalog. The clips were metal and do not appear to be very durable. All other versions of three rail track have male and female Bakelite base connectors, as well as flat, pin-type rail connectors.
