124 LIONEL CITY ILLUMINATED STATION (1920-36)

 

Built from early 1920 to 1930 and again from 1933 until 1936. Station is the same as the 121, but with interior light and two hanging light fixtures at corners under eaves, shown in 1920 to 1925 catalogs with wires passing through rubber gromet high on one wall and large door frame lettered "WAITING/ROOM", hanging sign lettered "LIONEL CITY", brass light fixtures, dark gray or tan base, terracotta walls, cream trim, pea green roof and windows, red doors, brass light fixtures, and black cardstock arrival signs on late 1930's version.
