Lionel pre-134

134 LIONELTOWN CITY STATION (ALL METAL)

Sold from 1937 until WW2 forced the cessation of toy train sales. This station was a 124 with the addition of a bi-metallic train stop circuit. The colors of the building were changed as well. Initially the nickel exterior light fixtures were attached on the outside of the station (which had tan walls, a red roof, and a 45N green base). The windows had ivory frames with white inserts - as did the doors. Nickel was used for the signs. On later models, the light fixtures were painted an aluminum color.
