Lionel pre-200t

No.200 STANDARD TURNTABLE

From 1928 into 1933, Lionel sold this Standard Gauge turntable. It was 17 inches in diameter, ironically meaning it couldn't handle steam locomotives but only electrics, which didn't need to be turned anyway! A brass knob and gear, cranked by hand, turned the center disk, which held a section of straight track. It was designed to accommodate eight approach tracks.
