Lionel pre-235e
OUTFIT No. 235E(a) 1934 O GAUGE
259E locomotive; 261T tender; 655 boxcar; 654 oil tank car; 653 coal car; 657 caboose. The 259E was black; the only observed example had a 262 tender in a box stamped "261T". The freight cars were the 650-series, which were eight-wheeled versions of the older 800 series. All frieght cars had brass trim with copper journals. The colors found with this set are were follows: 655 boxcar, cream with maroon roof; 654 tank car, aluminum with Sunoco decal; 653 hopper, Stephen Girard green'657 caboose, red with cream windows. |
