435 PREWAR POWER STATION

 

Available from 1926 through 1938, the #435 was one of many impressive, trackside structures that Lionel produced. This building sits on a 7.5x6 inch base, and stands just over 5 inches tall (not including the smokestack). Many different color variations came out of Hillside, NJ through the 13 years of production. Early, rare versions came with a plaque above the doors that read "EDISON SERVICE."
