Lionel pw-0114

0114 HO ENGINE HOUSE WITH HORN (1958 TO 1960)

Built from 1958 until 1960. Lionel typically used components from their O and O27 gauge lines to outfit an HO item, and the 0114 engine was was no exception. The building sits on a sheet metal base. The walls are painted red and the roof is tan. Windows and skylights are clear plastic. One HO track can be laid through the building - there is an opening on each side. The other bay is occupied by the O27 diesel horn, which is operated using the No. 90 button that came with it. The horn, just like with O gauge diesels, requires a D-cell battery for operation. This was a great way to provide an HO layout with sound. Unlike the kit (and more common) counterpart 0115 engine house which came unassembled and without a horn, this one came pre-assembled. This example is in Very Good (C6) condition. We have not tested it so are selling as is. Ideal for the operator. LG
