1130 STEAM LOCO & TENDER

Introduced in 1953, the 1130 was offered through 1954. It had a plastic body that was painted black, and featured a metal motor with a three- position E-unit. The E-unit was designed so its lever pointed down, avoiding the need for a slot in the top of the boiler. The locomotive had an operating headlight that shown through a clear lens, and ballast weight was added front and rear to improve traction. Initially it was supplied with a 6066T box tender, but later production came w ith an 1130T small streamlined tender.
