1952 ERIE ALCO FREIGHT SET

 

  • Built in 1952 and 1953, this Erie Alco set was assigned the same set number "1467" as was used in 1950 for the freight set with yellow (50th anniversary) U.P. Alco, and in 1951 with the silver U.P. Alco
  • Consists of 2032 Erie Alco AA powered and non-powered units, 6456 Lehigh Valley hopper, 6656 stock car, 6465 Sunoco double dome tank car, 6357 illuminated caboose, 8 x 1013 curved and 5 x 1018 pieces of straight 0-27 track, 6019 remote control track, 1033 90 watt transformer, CTC lockon, tube of lube, and instruction booklet
  • The 2032 Erie alco was new in 1952 and was introduced in this set.
