SEMAPHORE 1940-67-69

 

Semaphore. Painted die cast base. Stamped metal pole and ladder. The semaphore is used to indicatean unoccuppied/occuppied block - If the arm is pointing up and the light is green it's all clear if the arm is horizontal and a red light is showing the block is occuppied - apply the bakes. Built 1947-66 and 1968-69.
