2065 STEAM LOCO 0-27 FREIGHT SET (1954)

Set outfit box was standard Circle-"L" for 1953- 54. All components, including the engine and tender came in Middle Classic boxes. Corrugate liners were added protection for engine and tender. This set was only one of two outfits to include the Great Northern boxcar 6464-25. The grey Lehigh Valley hopper 6456-25 was recolored for 1954. SET INCLUDES: 2065 steam locomotive (headlight, Magne-Traction, smoke) w/2046W whistle tender; 6462 black gondola w/barrels; 6415 Sunoco 3-dome tanker; 6464-25 Great Northern boxcar; 6456-25 grey Lehigh Valley hopper; 6357 illuminated SP-type caboose; 8 curved 0-27 track; 3 straight 0-27 track; 6019 uncoupling/operating track section; 1033 90 watt transformer; Lockon; wire; smoke pellets in glass bottle; instructional paperwork.
