LIONEL CONTACTOR 153C

Contactor plates for accessories were produced from 1940 to 1942, 1946 to 1966, and from 1968 until 1969. A mainstay in Lionel operation, still used today with tubular track. This single-pole, double-throw weight-activated switch was developed for the 153 block signal in 1940. The 153C acted as a switch between terminals, but eventually was used as an on/off weight activated switch for numerous accessories (45 gateman, 152/252 crossing gate and more). Can be used today with most simple Post-War accessories. Came with standard instruction sheet and three wires. It was boxed for seperate sale starting in 1951. All of our boxed 153C's are complete and in Excellent (C7) condition or better.
