Lionel pw-153 gray

GRAY BLOCK SIGNAL 1942 ONLY

 

Chronologically, the 153 started in 1940 with both part number 153-3 and No. 153 in raised letters molded in the underside of it's base. A resistor was included and the steel pole was painted medium gray and the cap was was plated or painted gray. Screw-base 6 to 8 volt bulbs were used and also it came with the 153 contactor.
