JC #621 NW-2 SWITCHER 0-27 FRT SET (1956)

This was the second #621 set to be catalogued. The outfit box was the new two-tier basket weave type. The engine was packed w/double end corrugate inserts. All items came in Late Classic boxes. The crane cab was usually red w/#656025 stamped on the black frame. The work caboose was all orange and was packed w/its own corrugate insert. The box had a "-25" suffix on the end flap. The balance of the items were repeats and their stock numbers were printed on all 4 sides of the Middle Classic boxes. SET INCLUDES: #621 Jersey Central NW-2 switcher with horn and Magnetraction; 6436-25 maroon Lehigh Valley quad hopper; 6511 brown pipe car w/3 pipes; 3620 searchlight car; 6560-25 red cab crane; 6119-25 orange work caboose; eight 0- 27" curved and three 0-27" straight track; a boxed #6019 uncoupling/operating section; boxed #1053 black 60-watt transformer; instructional paperwork; Lockon; wire.
