205 MISSOURI PACIFIC ALCO AA SET (1957)
| This set is unique because locos and cars were unboxed. The outfit box was standard 2-tier issue, but the 205 units were placed unboxed on the bottom level. They were seperated and held in place by cardboard dividers while the balance of the components were a mixture of both boxed and unboxed items. The rolling stock usually came with AAR trucks. Contents: 205P/205T Missouri Pacific Alco AA units; 6121 flatcar with pipes, 6112 blue gondola with white canisters. 6111 flatcar with logs,6560 red cab crane, 6119-100 red cab work caboose. 8 curved and 3 straight 0-27 track, 6029 uncoupling track and 1015 45 watt transfomrer. The unpainted Locos came in various shades of blue plastic, and a few were painted, but this color variation is not considered significantSome locos were shipped with metal nose supports behind the cowcatcher to prevent breakage of the struts and plastic under the front coupler |
