U.P. ANNIVERSARY AA ALCOS FROM 1950 BLACK SHELL PAINTED YELLOW

 

These Union Pacific Alco A-A units were produced to celebrate Lionel's 50th Anniversary in 1950. Yellow body with grey roof. Painted plastic body with die-cast painted frame. Single motor with magnitraction. Applied metal ladders on die cast trucks. Ornamental horn. Operating head light and illuminated number boards and marker lights. Has typical roof warp. Fixed couplers on rears - coil couplers on pilots. Built 1950, and recataloged in 1951. Great runners.
  • This verson has a black shell that was painted yellow. The masking was the same.
