2055 HUDSON 4-6-4 LOCOMOTIVE - HEAT-STAMPED VERSION

This 4-6-4 steam locomotive was available from 1953 through to 1955. It was modeled after steam engines on the Atchinson, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad. It shared a boiler casting with the 665, 685 and 2065 steamers. However, the 2055 was the only one of these four to not have the horizontal tank above the boiler front. It used the same boiler front as the 646 and 2046 whistle tender. The body is diecast and is painted black. Some have rubber-stamped cab numbers, while some are heat-stamped. There is no difference in value between the two variations. It has an ornamental whistle and bell mounted to the body, as well as marker lights on the front, and wire handrails. It came with either a 6026W or a 2046 whistle tender. The body is diecast and is painted black. Features include: Pullmor motor, Magnetraction, three position E-unit, and operating smoke and headlight.
