2065 HUDSON WITH WHITE HEAT-STAMPED CAB NUMBER WITH 6026W TENDER

 

4-6-4 Santa Fe-type Hudson Loco and tender. Black painted diecast body with external feedwater heater tank on front. Wire handrails. Ornamental bell and whistle. Magnetraction and three position E-unit. Has Lionel's classic spur motor which runs forever and ever. Working headlight and smoke unit. Produced with 6026W tender and white heat- stamped or rubber-stamped numbers on the side of the engineer's cab. Tender has remote controlled whistle and operating coupler. Built from 1954 to 1956 with the full compliment of driving hardware. This is the smallest of three different Hudsons manufactured by Lionel, and was modelled after a design created by the Santa Fe Railroad.
