TEXAS SPECIAL F3 A-A PAIR

Built in 1954 and 1955, the Texas Special F3s featured arguably the best F3 paint scheme of Lionel's Postwar era. From the factory, the Texas S pecials came as an A-B pair. However, we are offering this A-A pair. One A unit is powered, while one is a dummy.
  • Most of these engines came with red painted pilot shrouds, but some were silver. Also, some came with black trucks while some came with silver trucks. The red paint on these has a high-gloss finish.
  • Both have operating couplers on the nose ends and fixed knuckles on the back ends.
  • These engines feature: one Pullmor motor, Magne-Traction, three-positio E-Unit, headlights, and an operating horn (in the dummy, requires a D Cell battery for operation).
