1957 2339 WABASH FREIGHT SET

This entry-level O Gauge set featured a new engine and new rolling stock for 1957. The Wabash 2339 had a relatively complicated three color paint scheme using blue, gray and white. The body mold was blue while the other colors were painted on. The Wabash Flag logo was decaled below the cab window on both sides. It features a Pullmor motor with Magne-Traction, three position E-Unit, operating horn, operating couplers, and headlights at both ends. The rest of the rolling stock - excluding the caboose - was new for 1957 as well. The set has a 6464-475 Type 2B Boston and Maine boxcar, 3444 Erie Cop and Hobo car, 6425 Gulf three dome tank car, and a 6427 N5C Porthole caboose. The set also came with eight O31 curves, five 10" straights, and a UCS operating section. The set box was the "basket weave" type and all of the components came in late classic boxes. This includes the engine - the 2339 never came in a plain cardboard carton.
