2343-01 SANTA FE F3 AA UNITS

 

Built from 1950 to 1952. F3 AA units. Silver and red "Warbonnet" paint scheme with red/yellow/black rubber-stamped detailing stripes. Wire cloth ventilator on roof and open portholes with lenses. Black heat-stamped lettering with wrap-around nose decal and red/white large GM decal. Two piece ornamental horns and cab door ladder. Window shell and number boards. Headlight lens and grab irons on nose. Silver chassis with silver painted pilot and silver painted side frames with steps. Twin horizontal motors and Magnetraction. Three position E-unit. Lighted both units with the horn in the powered unit. Operating coupler on pilots and diecast fixed couplers at each end. The double worm motor and transmisson has a characteristic sound that sounds much like real F3's and these always have been great runners!
