Lionel pw-2432,34,36

Built 1954-58. Lionel introduced the 2400 series molded plastic streamlined passenger cars in 1948. Based on a Pullman-Standard design. The series ran basically unchanged except for color schemes through 1966. All pre-1959 production was designated LIONEL LINES and, except for the 2436 MOOSEHEART, all cars were named for New Jersey towns near the Lionel factory in Irvington. The Elizabeth is the rarist in this series. It is atypical to find one of these cars without at least a couple of small blemishes in the silver.
