LIONEL LINES 2351 SILVER DAWN OBSERVATION CAR

Built from 1952 through to 1960, this Lionel Lines Silver Dawn streamlined observation passenger car has ribbed channels and glued name plates. There were many different variations of these cars over the years - the differences being centered around the manner in which the name plates were attched, as well as wether or not the channels above and below the windows were flat or ribbed. This car was part of the matching set of cars 2530, 2532 and 2533. It came in a variety of different sets, headed by engines like the 2353 and 2383 Santa Fe F3 pairs, 646 Hudson steam locomotive, and 2341 Jersey Central FM. Each car has two lights for full illumination, diecast trucks and one operating coupler.
