LIONEL 2551,2552,2553,2554 UNUSUAL CANADIAN PACIFIC ALUMINUM PASSENGER FOUR CAR SET

 

  • The Canadian Pacific Passenger Set was cataloged with three aluminum dome passenger cars (all named "Skyline 500" and numbered 2552), with one 2551 teardrop observation car
  • Two additional pullmans without domes - the 2553 "Craig Manor" and 2554 "Blair Manor" were cataloged for seperate sale. However, several "old timers" taught us that Lionel also shipped an "eastern" version of the set with one observation (2551), one dome car (2552), one "Blair Manor" Pullman (2553), and one "Craig Manor" pullman (2554)
  • The loco in the set was Lionel's dual motored 2373 Canadian Pacific F3 AA.
