METAL DOOR MILK CAR EARLY GLOSSY VERSION RARITY 4
|Built early 1947. The very first version of a long run of this popular operating car. Instead of being a dull cream color like the later cars, this one has glossy cream paint. Very rarely, one side of the car was stamped twice with the lettering, creating a shadow effect under the letters. The doors were metal and the underframe was made of brass. It has staple-end trucks with coil couplers on both ends.
