3650D EXTENSION SEARCHLITE CAR - DARK GRAY BASE VERSION

 

Built from 1956 until 1959. Painted gray diecast metal base, gray plastic searchlight unit on a red base held by a magnet to a steel plate attached to the car frame. Gray generator, and red reel with green cord and crank. Diecast bar-end trucks, two brake wheels, special hole added to frame to accommodate crank handle when not in use. This versions' base is painted dark gray, which is rarer than the more common light gray base.
