This platform is designed completely different than all the others and parts will not interchange, so it is important to get a working model of this particular platform. Heat-stamped lettering, circled 'L' Lionel logo, operating doors at the far ends lower or raise when electrical contact is made or broken, cattle move back and forth from the car to the corral by vibrator action, brake wheel of 1949 version with steps at all four corners. Staple end trucks with magnetic couplers into 1951, then bar end. Many corral versions exist, the 1949 model with fixed platform assembly and the later version with lift-out assembly.
