ATSF PAINTED WORK CABOOSE, UNLETTERED FRAME

 

6130 ATSF (Santa Fe): 1961, 1965-69. Work Caboose; red tool tray and cab with white heat-stamped lettering; cab with Santa Fe logo and tool tray with "6130", "ATSF", and "BUIL BY / LIONEL"; short smokestack; typically black frame; AAR trucks with varying coupler combinations; followed the normal progression of truck and coupler modifications as did other parts of the product line. Early 1960's production; red painted tool tray and cab; chemically blackened unlettered frame, one operating coupler.
