LIONEL 624 CHESAPEAKE & OHIO NW2 SWITCHER

 

1952 to 1954 production. EMD NW2 switcher, blue painted body with unpainted yellow smokestacks, yellow heat-stamped cab number, "CHESAPEAKE & OHIO", "C&O" medallion decals, black ornamental bell, silver ornamental horn, radio wheel, marker lens, wire handrails along hood, blue painted diecast frame with yellow stripe and wire handrails detail, lighted with headlight lens, front and rear coil couplers, two-axle Magnetraction, and three position E-unit. The large Chesapeake & Ohio decal is prone to flaking. Like New must have decal intact. There are two variations - one with three stanchions holding the handrails, the other with ten stanchions holding the handrails.
