LUMBER CAR FOR #264 FORKLIFT ACCESSORY
|Built 1957-58. Red molded 6511-2 frame with white heat-stamped serif lettering on the side rails. Three light brown molded lumber racks attached to the stake holes in the frame. Built to work with the fork lift accessory which will unload lumber one beam at a time, but offered for seperate sale 1957-58 Most were equipped with bar-end metal trucks attached to sheet metal truck mounting plates, with number '6264' stamped to right of LIONELLater production supplied with AAR-type trucks, attached directly to the body with rivets. Heat stamped number '6264' was changed also, and was stamped to left of "Lionel"
